These cargo pants were inspired by the standard Army Combat Uniform (ACU) currently worn by the U.S. Armed Forces. Issued in 2004, the ACU replaced the BDU design that was in use since the 1980s. This version is better suited for casual, everyday wear, with a relaxed fit and a cotton twill outer shell, though still features multiple cargo pockets and a secure button closure.
